Our Facilitators

The presence of the people who guide your journey matters deeply. At our Denver, Colorado psychedelic therapy practice, our facilitators bring a blend of clinical expertise, rigorous training, and a genuine passion for the transformative potential of psilocybin-assisted therapy in Colorado.

Led by Michael P. Biggans – a former trial attorney, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Owner-founder, and Lead Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator – our team is built on a foundation of compassion, integrity, and a profound respect for the sacred nature of this work. Michael’s leadership is informed by years of advanced psychological training, and a curated group of facilitators who enrich our practice with diverse lived experiences – from behavioral health and clinical expertise to the arts and creative expression.

We believe the facilitator-client relationship is one of the most vital elements of the set/setting and a meaningful psychedelic experience. Every member of our team is committed to holding space that is safe, supportive, and deeply human, allowing you to focus entirely on your healing, growth, and exploration.

Michael P. Biggans, JD/MS, LPC, NMCF

Michael P. Biggans, LPC, is a Colorado-based therapist and leading psilocybin and natural medicine facilitator who works with people ready to explore the deeper layers of psychotherapy and spiritual integration. Before founding The Psychedelic Therapy Den and writing The Psychedelic Self, Michael was a trial attorney. That background in advocacy informs everything he does today – except now, he’s advocating for his clients’ internal liberation rather than their legal rights.

Michael believes that many of our psychological burdens are actually barriers to our spiritual essence. After his own transformative experiences with psychedelic medicine, he transitioned from the courtroom to the therapy room, helping others clear the trauma that keeps them disconnected from their own “Self” energy.

Connecting Mind, Body & Spirit

He is known for being a calm, authentic guide who can translate complex, “inexplicable” experiences into practical healing. By mixing evidence-based methods like IFS, ERP, and ACT with the lived experience of a spiritual seeker, he helps clients navigate treatment-resistant depression, addiction, anxiety and CPTSD, among other many presentations.

Michael is an adventurer, explorer, animal lover and an advocate for the ethical, intentional use of natural medicines. He views psilocybin as a catalyst for reconnecting with the truths that make life worth living. His approach combines the intellect of a former litigator with the heart of a seasoned therapist, making him a go-to for those who haven’t found relief in traditional models and are ready for a deeper level of change and exploration.

Tiffany Bendelow, MPH, NMF

Tiffany Bendelow, MPH, is a licensed Natural Medicine Facilitator in Colorado working at the intersection of sound, somatic awareness, and psychedelic care. With over a decade of experience in clinical research and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, her work is grounded in both scientific rigor and a deep respect for the intelligence of the human nervous system.

Her facilitation style is relational, intuitive, and deeply attuned – centered on creating a space where individuals can safely explore expanded states of consciousness while remaining anchored in their own agency. She approaches this work through a trauma-informed lens, with sensitivity to the nuanced dynamics that can arise in altered states.

Tiffany believes that expanded states can offer a meaningful pathway for individuals to reconnect with a sense of purpose, soften long-held protective patterns, and access forms of insight that are not purely cognitive, but deeply embodied. Her work supports clients in moving beyond intellectual understanding into lived, felt experience – where shifts can occur at the level of the nervous system, not just the mind.

Relational, Intuitive, and Deeply Attuned

She is known for her ability to hold complexity without forcing a single framework or interpretation – welcoming multiple perspectives, belief systems, and ways of making meaning to coexist within the same space. This allows clients to arrive as they are, without needing to adopt a particular lens, and to discover what feels most true and resonant for them.

In addition to her work as a facilitator, Tiffany is a DJ, producer, and sound practitioner, and the founder of Resonant Medicine – a practice devoted to the use of sound and frequency as a modality for healing and integration. She thoughtfully incorporates sound into her sessions as a supportive, non-directive element, helping to regulate the nervous system and deepen the experiential process.

Her approach is both grounded and expansive – bridging modern research, somatic awareness, and subtle energetic frameworks. She is particularly drawn to working with individuals seeking clarity, reconnection, and meaningful transformation, and who value a space that is both structured and deeply human.

Her work is devoted to helping people reconnect to their own internal intelligence – where insight is not imposed, but remembered.

Somatic Psychedelic Facilitator & Neurodynamic Breathwork Facilitator

Brian holds a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts. He is the founder of Psychetheatrics®, a practice that bridges the worlds of theatre, somatic practice, breathwork, and psychedelic preparation, facilitation, and integration, helping individuals explore their inner world through creativity, movement, voice, and archetypal play.

He believes that healing does not come from outside of us, but from within us, and that these modalities help individuals access their own inner guiding intelligence and capacity for insight, growth, and change.
